Mission Statement
To provide the Chebeague Island community with recreational and educational opportunities that strengthen overall health and social connection to enhance lives and secure futures.

The Center was built in 1997, with donations of money and services from hundreds of supporters and we opened in February of 1998.
Our Programs
Our programs include workout facilities and classes, professionally led camps, swim lessons and pool workouts, preschool, child care, classes and workshops, a teen center, and more. See the Program link at the top of this page to learn more about current programs.

Membership: Additional Information
- Children under 3 are free to use the pool and gymnasium (with adult supervision)
- Gym and Court use is free for members.
- Non-members: costs $5 for residents and $10 for non-residents.
- If you would like to use the courts or gym as a group, please pay as you can but we suggest a $25 fee for 4 people or more.
- Teen Room is free for all teens during office hours and Teen Center hours
- Memberships are for the Calendar Year (starting in 2025)
- Payment plan is available – Inquire within

The Main building is unlocked and available for drop-ins and member use 8:00-4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Must be a member to get a code to use the Rec outside of the above hours.

Getting Here
Chebeague Recreation Center is located in the center of Chebeague Island at 382 North Road.
Visitors and residents arrive via personal boat or Chebeague Transportation Company or Casco Bay Lines ferries.
